5 Active Super Heroes of Nepal Whom India Respect



A Social hero is one who transcends, confronts, and then Conquers elements of society. Our legendary heroes spent much of their time living up to the expectations of others, the social heroes are engaged in a valiant struggle to live up to their own expectations in spite of society. So, today i am going to talk about those heroes who pioneered in social entrepreneurship and changed the present and future of Nepal.

1) Anuradha Koirala  

Anuradha Koirala the well known super heroes of Nepal . Anuradha Koirala is also the mother teressa of Nepal. She is the founder  and director of non-profit organization, Maiti Nepal, which advocates against  child rights ,women rights ,women trafficking ,child trafficking and banded child labor and protecting women in Nepal. Anuradha Koirala is a social activist devoted her life to save women and children from human trafficking.

 

 

2)DR. SANDUK RUIT

Dr. Sanduk Ruit is a skilled ophthalnologist who can perform a catoract surgery in under five minutes. He is also known as Nepal’s miracle eye doctor who has restored the sight of more than 120000 people across Nepal and beyond . Ruit came from very humble beginning .He was born in olangchungola ,a remote village in eastern Nepal . The vision of  Ruit is to provide the surgical procedure to the Nepalese people which is affordable and modern surgical technology

 

3) KULMAN GHISING 

Kulman Ghising is the former managing director of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA). The smart and intelligent Ghising received a scholarship to study electricity engineering at regional institute of technology in Jamshedpur India. He is considered as the “God of light” for every Nepali . He is known to solving the load-shedding  problem ,whereby, from decades the country is facing problem of power cut up to 18 hours a day .

 

4) MAHABIR PUN PAHAGAMI

Mahabir Pun,  especially known as a Nepali teacher, a social entrepreneur and social worker. he was born in myagdi district at nangi village. He completed his high school education from terai. His profession as a teacher he works 12 years in 12 different schools. In 1989 Ad he got his Scholarship from university of Nebraska after that he returned in his own country. He was curious about the change in education when he was in university of Nebraska by using email, internet, computer and technology.  In 2004 he was successful to get award called overall social innovation from global ideas bank. He  later transformed  the remote areas with Global Networking Society.Because of this success he was awarded by rayman magsaysay in 2007 AD which is also called as Nobel prize of Asia and in the same year university of Nebraska  respected as a doctor of humane letter. Pun founded the Nepal wireless networking project in 2002 to build a local communication.

5) UTTAM SANJEL

Uttam is also the active social heroes of Nepal and the founder of Samata School & hospital. Due to poverty and insufficient infrastructure throughout the country, many children in Nepal are deprived of education and many have to beg on the streets just to survive. In the 1990s, Mr. Uttam Sanjel began telling stories to these street kids and from this, was inspired to help them receive an education. He sacrificed his dream of becoming a Bollywood star and started building sturdy, earthquake-resistant structures with simple, inexpensive, easy to obtain bamboo. He called the schools “Samata Shiksha Niketan” which means “Place of Peace and Knowledge.” In addition to offering education and guidance, these schools also provide food and lodging for destitute children.
